finally, a few more photos from the 5th annual martha’s vineyard food and wine festival. i arrived on saturday and went into the grand tasting tent right away.

inside the tent there were numerous restaurant and winery tastings.

many restaurants from the martha’s vineyard and boston area participated.

and i participated by trying out a bit of everything they had to offer (did not want them to be offended i didn’t try their food ;) ).

some of the restaurants featured were: among the flowers, ashmont grill, atria, atlantic fish and chop hose, the boathouse, deuxave, dbar, dante, lola’s, lyre grill, o ya, martha’s vineyard chowder company, water street, tremont 647 and many others.

although, most of the food fell in the seafood category (yay!), there was a wonderful range of dishes so it did not feel repetitive at all.

i really enjoyed the different samplings and meeting other food enthusiasts.



after wondering around the tents, we made our way to the demo stage where chef ric orlando prepared a pesce cruda with seeds, a tahitian ceviche and a sea scallop ceviche.

we got to to try all three and afterwards, nelly and i took a picture with chef orlando.

the next day i rented a bike and went around edgartown taking pictures and enjoying my last day in the vineyard.
