how are you? how was your thanksgiving? mine was fantastic! i went to my aunt and uncle’s place where we ate a ton of great food, drank a lot of wine. on the menu were: dominican style potato salad, rice and peas, rice and vegetables, greens and tomatoes salad with jully’s homemade dressing, roast chicken, telera (dominican bread), stuffing and of course turkey. for dessert homemade pumpkin pie.

it was delicious and a ton of fun!
in addition, we all took turns holding and cuddling with the newest addition to our family, my cousin’ son: julian. he is the one we threw the baby shower for a few months ago.

here i am feeding him, not wanting to give him back to his momma :)
he is one month old and the sweetest baby ever. and on thursday, he was the tiniest and most important person at that dinner. we were all lining up to hold him. he will be one spoiled boy, we are all smitten with him.
alright, i am going back to work on tomorrow’s post. it will be a recipe involving yuca and rosemary. i hope you had a restful and fun weekend.
hasta mañana!
